Centene Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to plan, organize, and oversee complex initiatives across cross-functional teams. You will manage the full project lifecycle from requirements through closure, employing standard PM tools to deliver on strategic objectives.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of project management experience. Healthcare experience is preferred, with PMP or CAPM certification also favored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Experience leading diverse, matrix managed teams.
• Proficient with project management tools, MS-Project or other PM software, and MS-Office applications.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee projects using cross-functional teams.
• Manage full project life cycle: requirements, plans, resources, budget, execution, and closure.
• Use standard PM tools and techniques to manage projects.
• Maintain project documentation: meeting minutes, action items, issues lists, risk plans.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Negotiate resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and create milestone dashboards and ROI metrics.
