JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Procurement Assistance Support Services (PASS) (Project Manager II) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Management And Operations Solutions for clients such as State of North Carolina (NCDPC) | North Carolina Department of Administration – Division of Purchase & Contract (P&C).


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

The ProSidian Procurement Assistance and IT Research, Advisory, and Consulting Project Manager II Leads medium-to-large scale projects, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables related to procurement assistance and IT consulting.

Desired Qualifications For Project Manager II | Procurement Assistance and IT Research, Advisory, and Consulting [NCDPC0018017] Candidates:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in leading discussions; contributing questions and answers; raising issues, risks, and concerns; and developing and giving presentations.

Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contracts and/or task support activities. Prepares project estimates and work plans using best practices and principles. Ensures successful project completion through responsibilities associated with staffing, project planning, project financials, risk management, and staff direction and oversight. Manages and oversees work performance on large size task orders or manages as a senior project manager. Prepares and maintains the project schedule and budget. Prepares and delivers status reports to the client. Serves as the primary point of contact for the client on any sized project. Manages staff, budget, and prioritization of tasks.


Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of general experience or fourteen (14) years of general experience with a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe). Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
