WCL Group in Greenville, SC is seeking a Project Manager II for Capital Equipment projects. You will coordinate the end-to-end process to buy, deliver, install, and qualify new factory equipment, ensuring on-time execution and a strong business case.

You will use Smartsheet to manage schedules, lead Kaizen events, and drive continuous improvement to accelerate capacity ramp-up while reducing costs. 1-year contract with potential extension or conversion to full-time.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required.
• High level of expertise in project scheduling software, preferably Smartsheet.
• Continuous improvement leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Production supervisor experience.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.

POSITION OVERVIEW – Project Manager II - Capital Equipment Project Manager

You’ll get new factory equipment bought, delivered, installed, and ready to run on time. That means working with teams across the business to get the business case approved, write the technical specs, send out quotes and purchase orders, and track every step until the equipment is qualified for production. You’ll build and keep the Smartsheet schedules up to date, join improvement events (Kaizens) and roadmap sessions that support the capacity ramp‑up, and look for ways to cut cost and speed things up. It's a good fit for someone with a manufacturing background who is organized, builds trust across teams, and wants their work to have a real business impact.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
