Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Project Manager II in a hybrid/on-site role (Lone Tree, CO and Plano, TX) to oversee projects of moderate complexity from proposal through closeout. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, developing detailed plans and budgets, and communicating with senior management.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 4+ years of PM experience, with strong MS Office and PM software skills.

Under the supervision of a portfolio or program manager, you will ensure the successful completion of projects by assembling teams, assigning responsibilities, and managing resources.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.* Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.* Demonstrated experience in managing a complex project with multi-function team.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.* Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules.* Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US security clearance **Qualifications We Prefer:*** Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.* Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management.* Experience with risk management planning and documentation.* Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution.* Experience in resource planning and management during project execution.* Knowledge of Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing principles.* Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 & CMMI process standards.* Familiarity with government contracting and regulations. **Essential Functions:*** Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to travel as required.* Capacity to work in a hybrid environment, balancing office and remote work.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22.
