Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Project Engineer II to lead technical projects from concept through delivery. You will manage plans, schedules, budgets, and interface with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams in a hybrid office setting.

The role requires a strong technical background, 10+ years in engineering with leadership experience, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and ability to obtain a Secret clearance. INCOSE certification or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in engineering roles with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development team.
  • Ability to interface and manage specialized vendors in the simulation and training environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
  • Strong simulation and training background with experience in flight and/or ISR mission system implementations.

As a Project Engineer II you will be responsible for managing project activities throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery.
