Job summary

PALMS Insurance, a NextEra Energy company, seeks a Project Manager to oversee multiple business and strategic initiatives from planning through implementation. You will partner with stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners to drive successful delivery, providing governance, planning, risk management, status reporting, and escalation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED is required.
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience required.
• Experience: 2+ years in project management.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and completes projects within budget and schedule.
• Develops work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Secures resources and uses formal processes to manage budgets, risks and changes.
• Conducts project meetings and tracks progress and analysis.
• Identifies issues, measures results, and implements solutions.
• Provides information to clients on moderate to complex issues.
• Creates and communicates presentations for updates to stakeholders.
• Performs external research on new developments relevant to the project.
• Provides coaching, leadership to project team and supports other duties.
