NextEra Energy's Palms Insurance unit seeks a Sr Data Engineering Manager to own Palms’ data processes, data applications and the Data Engineering team. The role supports a portfolio including Palms Data Warehouse, Power BI reporting, ad-hoc data queries, Claims Management, and Bordereaux (BDX) import systems.

You will guide day-to-day IT activities, collaborate with the FPL Energy Services leadership, explore the future IT landscape, and drive delivery across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or IT leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and support for day-to-day Information Technology activities.
• Interacts with FPL Energy Services Lead team.
• Researches the future of the Information Technology landscape and opportunities.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
