Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Project Manager I to lead projects from design through release and closeout. You will develop plans, schedules, and budgets, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders on technical matters.

This role introduces people management and a chance to grow within the IAS business area. The job requires a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years of PM experience, proficiency in MS Office and PM software, and the ability to obtain a Secret US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business admin or related field.
• 2+ years of project management experience in a technical or related field.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from design to release, including initiation, execution, delivery, and closeout.
• Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate resources and interface with customers or field-based employees on technical matters.
• Serve as a Control Account Manager on larger programs as needed.
• Prepare reports to inform stakeholders on project status.
