Job summary

Baker Construction in Washington, DC area seeks a Project Manager I to lead less complex projects, establishing objectives through planning and budgets and serving as the primary client contact with the Superintendent. You will monitor financials and safety across the project.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 4 years' experience, or 8 years' construction-related experience, and offers growth opportunities within a national contractor. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Summary

The Project Manager I provides overall management direction on less complex project(s). Establishes project objectives through planning and budgets, serves as the primary point of contact with the client, and monitors construction and financial activities in collaboration with the Superintendent. Responsible for the financial results of the project. Responsible for safety on the project by perpetuating the IIF culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and 4 years of experience, or 8 years of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation for this position is expected to range from $97,692 to $127,000 annually.

Actual compensation offered may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, training, skills, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, and business needs.

In addition to base compensation, eligible co-workers may participate in company-sponsored benefits, which may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement savings plans, and other company-sponsored benefit programs, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
