About the Role:

The Project Manager I helps account managers by organizing order details and coordinating projects. This role improves client satisfaction and efficiency by ensuring accurate production and timely updates. By maintaining clear communication and high standards, the Project Manager I supports the company's goal of delivering quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists account manager with pre‑sale activities such as sample materials and color match targets.
  • Works closely with assigned account managers to gather order details and efficiently enter them into ERP system.
  • Gathers all necessary information to set up new customers in our ERP system.
  • Schedules project launch meetings with appropriate internal team members (when applicable).
  • Manages artwork process including downloading client art, setting up internal art folders, reviewing quality of art files, submitting to prepress and working with client for final art approval.
  • Submits purchase requisitions for vendor supplied materials and ensures POs are linked to order.
  • Tracks open orders through the production process and alerts account manager to issues that may disrupt on‑time shipment.
  • Monitors daily reports to ensure all order details are complete in ERP to allow for accurate production, shipping and billing of the job.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for internal departments when questions arise about the project.
  • Provides status updates, tracking information, pro‑forma invoices, etc. to clients.
  • Becomes proficient with various Modular Frame Systems and reads frame drawings.
  • Provides order entry support during off hours when needed.
  • Requires detailed direction from account manager or leader for product, process and system questions through daily interactions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in project management or a related field required.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and project management tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Occasionally stand, walk, and reach to access materials or participate in events.
  • Lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Frequently use hands and fingers to operate computers, phones, and office equipment.
  • Visual acuity for reading digital and printed materials.
  • Some travel may be required for events, meetings, or projects.
