Job summary

Alliance Home in Morrisville, NC is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalize complex projects on time and within budget. This role requires building cross-functional teams, defining scope, and tracking resources and milestones.

You will report onsite two days a week, collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, prepare regular reports, and drive process improvements through the Project Portfolio Management dashboard.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, Human Services or related field and two years’ previous experience working as a Project Manager; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the essential knowledge and abilities to perform the job
  • PMP certification required within eighteen (18) months of employment

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget
  • Establish project teams based on members’ skills, knowledge, and experience
  • Document projected resources, dates, and goals
  • Define project purpose and assign team members roles and tasks
  • Generate and manage project timelines, tasks, resources, meetings, and deadlines
  • Maintain relationships with clients and team members and serve as a link between them
  • Manage assigned projects and ensure smooth, efficient execution
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to management
  • Conduct regular team meetings, track project status, and implement changes and improvements
  • Manage project-team problems and client issues
  • Evaluate completed projects and discuss results with the team
  • Improve timeliness and accuracy of the Project Portfolio Management dashboard
  • Manage initiative tasks, resource allocations, and time entry in the PPM system
  • Enter projects with accurate dates, staff, and allocations in the PPM system
  • Develop strategic recommendations and guidance for project sponsors
  • Research and develop solutions addressing project needs
  • Regularly review policy papers, state contract requirements, policies, and procedures
