• Track dependencies, action items, and key dates; raise escalations when necessary.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial Operations.
• Facilitate communication, meeting follow-ups, and coordination to support project execution.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues; develop mitigation plans and communicate status via dashboards and meetings.
• Maintain and update project documentation, progress reports, and executive dashboards.

Job Summary

Project Manager – Air Handler Product Business Unit

This role is based in the Johnson Controls Airside Engineering Center (ACE) in York, Pennsylvania. Candidates must be within commuting distance of York, PA, or able to relocate. Only U.S. citizens and/or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position, as sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate new product development sub‑projects through Johnson Controls’ stage‑gate process, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery that meets quality and performance expectations.
• Develop and maintain execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations for assigned workstreams.
• Track dependencies, action items, and key dates; raise escalations when necessary.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial Operations to align deliverables and timelines.

• Preferred: exposure to stage‑gate or phase‑gate product development processes; basic knowledge of the HVAC industry or related product development environment.
• Experience using collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams) and work‑management tools (Daptiv, Planview, Smartsheet, Wrike).

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: $75,000 – $90,000 (subject to experience, market data, and internal equity). This position includes a competitive benefits package.
