Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning | Wyoming is seeking a Project Manager / HVAC Engineer to support planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field cost analysis for multiple projects in Sheridan and Gillette. You will assist in coordinating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining detailed project documentation.

The role emphasizes building and monitoring schedules and milestones, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of information and materials.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of commercial construction experience or internships in construction management.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency in construction-related software (Procore, MS Project, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 - Desired
• Familiarity with government contract requirements - Desired
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, budget, field cost analysis, and compliance support
• Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of projects
• Prepare submittals, including schedules, material lists, and subcontractor details
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Maintain accurate project logs and reporting for clients and management
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely delivery
• Review drawings and specifications to spot conflicts and support field resolution
• Assist in building and monitoring project schedules and milestones
• Track budgets, invoices, and cost-related documentation
• Participate in site meetings and ensure smooth project closeout with as-builts, warranties, and final reports
• Obtain necessary project permits
• Track project quantities and assist in cost projections

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 8:00am to 5:00pm

Locations: Sheridan and Gillette

Essential Job Duties:

• This position plays a critical support role in planning, scheduling, budgeting, field cost analysis, and compliance
• Support Project Managers in planning, coordination, and execution of projects
