Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead commercial plumbing/HVAC projects in Hollins, VA. You will plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a related role, strong communication, budget control, and contract negotiation, with knowledge of plumbing or HVAC systems. This role offers growth, PTO, company car, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Projects from 50k to 25M+.
• Proven track record of successfully managing commercial plumbing projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems or HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated ability to review and negotiate contracts.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong budget management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of construction management principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of commercial plumbing/HVAC projects from initial planning to completion.
• Review contracts and negotiate terms to ensure optimal outcomes for the company.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Manage project budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with other professionals in the construction industry, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact project timelines or budgets.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Continually monitor the quality of work being carried out, taking corrective action as necessary.
• Foster a positive, safety-focused work environment, leading by example at all times.
