ARCO in Dallas, TX is seeking a Project Manager with 3-5 years in estimating and HVAC project management to lead turn-key mechanical and process piping projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• 2-7+ years of HVAC project management experience; previous design/build project leadership preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Flexibility to travel to client sites nationwide as needed.

Responsibilities

• Estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Gather project requirements directly from clients and facilitate preparation of working drawings.
• Work independently and with management to prepare/submit project proposals.
• Attend client meetings to present proposals and address cost, design, and scope questions.
• Ensure accurate and complete project estimates aligned with contracted scope.
• Manage RFIs, change-orders, and submittals throughout lifecycle of projects.
• Oversee internal project accounting and track cost status.
• Plan, coordinate, oversee, and maintain field operations and teams.
• Manage close-out and warranty issues as they arise.

We are currently seeking highly motivated Project Manager with 3-5 years of estimating/project management experience with a focus in HVAC to join our team in Dallas, TX. A Day in the Life:

• Responsible for all managerial and administrative aspects of a wide range of turn-key mechanical and/or process piping projects including; estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation

• Gather project requirements directly from clients and facilitate preparation of working drawings

• Work both independently and alongside management to prepare/submit project proposals

• Attend client meetings to present project proposals and address client questions relating to cost, design, and scope of work

• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimates that align with the scope(s) of contracted work

• Manage RFI’s, change-orders, and submittals throughout lifecycle of assigned project(s)

• Manage internal project accounting requirements and track cost status of ongoing project(s)

• Plan, coordinate, oversee, and maintain effective field operations and teams

• Manage and address project close-out and/or warranty issues as they arise

Necessary Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline

• 2-7+ years of experience in HVAC project management; previous experience leading design/build projects strongly preferred

• Demonstrated competency in effective negotiation and conflict resolution

• Flexibility to travel to client sites nationwide as needed required

Typical base compensation for the Project Manager role is between $84,000.00 - $135,000.00. Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range. In addition to the base salary, the role is eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation based on individual and company.
