Job summary

Intero Integrity, Houston, seeks an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management team. You will oversee scope, budgets, milestones, and stakeholder communication from award to close-out, ensuring safe, on-time delivery of services.

The role requires a minimum 5 years in technical/energy project management, with travel up to 40% in North America and 20% internationally. A 4-year degree or PMP is preferred, and strong budgeting, leadership, and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in technical, energy, or oil & gas industries.
  • Experience with pigging/cleaning/purging and in-line inspection.
  • Fluid dynamics knowledge (flow and pressure calculations).
  • Turnkey project experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or PMP certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated budgeting and cost-control experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly talented, knowledgeable, and motivated Project Manager with relevant experience to become a member of our Project Management team in Houston. Successful project execution is key and requires effective project management. Responsibilities include reviewing project scope of work and resource requirements, participating in project budget setting, establishing execution milestones and timelines, communicating operational requirements to appropriate team members, and supporting the operational teams during the project execution phases from project award through project close-out.

  • Travel to client and project job sites to perform site visits in preparation of project execution. Communicate effectively with Customers and Team in a technical and consultative manner to assess and resolve execution needs
  • Provide regular project status reports to Customers, Team and Management, as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of successful project management experience in a technical, energy, or oil&gas related industry
  • Pigging/cleaning/purging and in line inspection
  • Fluid dynamics knowledge (Flow & Pressure calculations)
  • Turnkey experience
  • Minimum 4-year degree or PMP certification preferred
  • Demonstrated experience of setting and working within project budgets
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Working competency with computers and Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to use a technical, consultative communication approach with customers and team members
  • Ability to address and overcome challenges in a professional, team-oriented approach
  • Excellent organization skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to travel up to 40% within N. America for project site visits, operational support, customer meetings, and training
  • Ability to travel internationally for trainings, up to 20%
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and dependable. Able to work within a team or independently
  • Possess, or be able to attain required industry certifications such as Basic Plus, TWIC card, etc.
  • Ability to work both in standing and sitting positions for several hours at a time, both indoors and in inclement weather conditions, with the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Managing customer relationships and developing customer specific sales strategies;
  • Assessing clients’ needs and resources and recommending the appropriate technical Intero inspection solution(s)
  • Consulting with clients after service delivery to resolve any challenges (service or ticket related) and to provide ongoing support; acting as troubleshooter for technical problems related to Intero’s inspection operations or services when needed
  • Monitor project performance and implement improvements. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. Manage maintenance of equipment and machinery. Provide technical support where necessary
  • Ensure that QHSE rules and procedures are followed by all employees on projects and that facilities are in compliance with company, local, and governmental safety regulations
  • Manage equipment operation and safety training programs to ensure all employees are properly trained in the efficient and safe operation of the pipeline/heater and that a safe working environment exists for all employees
  • Ensure compliance with established quality control/assurance procedures while performing all the field operation processes
  • Manage the inventory of expendable materials, spare parts, and equipment, ensuring that all service equipment and vehicles are ready and available for use at all times
  • Manage tool inventory to ensure all tools in field service center are in good working order and ready for inspection and categorizes, reports, and ships non-conforming tools to home location for repair and preventative maintenance
  • Provide technical information to customers to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and project fulfillment
  • Ensure that Inspection Engineers and Technicians submit complete and accurate run documentation, information for data analysis, time sheets, field reports and expense reports
  • Select, manage, evaluate, motivate and develops employees to ensure a qualified workforce necessary to meet company objectives
  • Develop a positive team dynamic to ensure optimal performance
  • Lead the continuous improvement process in the project operations team to include root cause analysis and quality initiatives to enhance the efficiency of operations
  • Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures
  • Organize recruitment and placement of required staff. Establish project organizational structures. Delegate tasks and accountabilities. Establish work schedules. Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance
