ELLKAY, IN-based, is seeking a Project Manager for Hospital Migrations to lead cross-functional teams across multiple software solutions within the ELLKAY product suite, ensuring on-time data transfer and successful migrations for healthcare delivery customers.

The role requires ownership of full project lifecycles, risk and change management, and close collaboration with customers and internal teams to align solutions with client goals and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of healthcare-related project management experience.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience with tracking and planning.
  • Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • PMP certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful implementation of data transfer projects for multiple migration and archive solutions in the ELLKAY product suite.
  • Provide leadership for the project team to meet goals and milestones.
  • Work with customers to develop migration strategy including goals, extraction plans, and validation of migrated data.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure overall success of customer implementation.
  • Work in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Full project life cycle ownership: initiation to deployment for one or more initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities and resources per ELLKAY's prescribed project methodology.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and processes for a successful implementation.
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, scope changes, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all project communication, both oral and written.
  • Set and manage appropriate expectations both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams effectively, with a focus on organizational goals.
  • Ability to meet stated customer-initiated deadlines.

Job Description:

This is a full-time, technically oriented-professional exempt position. A project manager in this position will be responsible for leading team(s) to deliver project(s) that span across multiple software solutions in the ELLKAY product suite to support our growing Health Care Delivery customer base. This includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.

The Project Manager - has the authority to run each project on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for establishing and cultivating a positive working relationship with each customer from an implementation perspective. The project manager is also providing direction, coordination, and control of the project while remaining aligned with the commitments and goals of the organization.

  • Oversee the successful implementationof datatransfer projects for multiple migration and archive solutions in the ELLKAY product suite.
  • Provide leadership for the project team to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Work with customers to develop a comprehensive migration strategy including goals, extraction plans, and validation of migrated data.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure overall success of the customer implementation.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one or more initiatives simultaneously.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources in adherence to ELLKAY's prescribed project methodology.
  • Follow prescribed policies, procedures, and processes for a successful implementation.
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals.
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, scope changes, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.

Education/Training/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in healthcare industry required.
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
  • PMP Certification preferred, but not required.
