Job summary

STV Construction Incorporated in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Project Manager to perform services co-extensive with a Senior Project Manager for multiple campus projects ranging from $1M to $30M.

The role requires 5 years of management experience on multiple design and construction projects and a BA/BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or a related field; 4 extra years can substitute for education.

  • Coordinate design and construction activities across projects and teams.

Job description

The Project Manager is expected to perform services that are generally co-extensive with those of the Senior Project Manager, for multiple Campus Projects simultaneously ranging in construction value from $1M to $30M.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years experience in management of multiple design and construction projects.
  • BA or BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or a closely related field.
  • 4 years additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within a large capital improvement program and familiarity with relevant provisions of the California Public Contract Code.
  • 2 years’ experience in educational facility construction.
  • Experience in formal construction partnering.
  • A current and valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or as a Professional Engineer by the California State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
  • A valid Construction Manager (CCM) credential by the Construction. Manager Certification Institute (CMCI).
  • Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA). construction/design processes or similar processes.
  • Knowledge of all parts of the project life cycle, to include planning, design, construction, and closeout.
  • Experience in alternative delivery method.
  • Ability to multi-task, solve problems and successfully deliver projects.
Compensation Range: $143,435.23 - $163,925.98
