Enso Homes is seeking a Project Manager to lead our construction division and scale a growing remodel and new-build portfolio. You will own outcomes—on time, on budget, and at the high-quality standard that defines our brand—while integrating AI-driven workflows and lean processes.
You will train superintendents and crews, manage a cross-functional team including the COO and design group, and ensure clean handoffs from pre-construction to field.
You feel it on every job site. There has to be a better way to build homes.
Not just better for the environment. Better for the people living in them. The industry keeps producing homes filled with materials that work against our biology, built to last 30 years instead of 300, remodeled with the same shortcuts and the same acceptance that "this is how it's done." You've been in construction long enough to see the pattern.
We're Enso Homes, an AI-driven design-build company, and we're proving there's a better way, one remodel at a time. Non-toxic materials, mold-resistant assemblies, and building science most builders haven't caught up to yet. This isn't a marketing angle. It's how we build. And it works.
We run our operations on AI, woven into how we work every day. You don't need to build the tech. You do need the appetite to learn it, fast.
We need a Project Manager who can take this from a vision to a repeatable operation.
You’ll lead our construction division. Every remodel we sell runs through you. You’ll run a team that today includes two superintendents and a pre-construction manager, growing to 4 to 6 superintendents as we scale toward 15 to 25 active projects at a time. You own the outcomes - on time, on budget, and at the quality standard we’ve staked our name on.
You’ll also be the one who decides how we get faster, leaner, and better at what we do, without compromising on the materials and methods that make our work different. Sharpening estimating accuracy, tightening logistics, identifying where time and money leak, and building the systems that let us scale without losing quality.
You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll report directly to our COO with direct support from the C-suite, plus software engineers building tech around your workflows. He owns the tech and operations infrastructure, you own how we actually build. And our design team owns everything upstream: scope, selections, and plans are locked before a project ever reaches construction. Clean handoffs, no chasing design decisions mid-build. You’re the strategic operator on the construction side.
You’ll bring in top trade partners, train superintendents and crews on materials and methods most builders don’t know, and hold the quality bar across every active project.
You’re a builder who sees the whole picture. Not just schedules and budgets, but why we build in the first place. You’ve spent years mastering this: coordinating trades, solving the puzzles construction throws at you daily. And you’ve reached the point where mastery alone isn’t enough. Meaning matters more than it used to.
This isn’t a tech role. You don’t need to be a software wizard - we have a strong COO and engineers who own that side of the business. What we need from you is construction depth: the operational chops to make our projects run cleaner, the relationships to bring in the right people, and the curiosity to push our methods forward.
This also isn’t a desk-only role. Expect roughly a third of your time in the field, alongside our superintendents and in front of clients. But your primary job isn’t running daily field operations - it’s running the system that makes those operations work. Although, in the beginning you may be running field operations as we scale up and train our trade partners.
You’ll have real ownership over how we build. Not approving someone else’s playbook but helping to write it. Every system you create becomes part of how we scale. Every relationship you build, every method you refine, makes the next project better. Every remodel we deliver is proof that healthier building works at real-world prices. Your work becomes the case study the rest of the industry references.
We’re not chasing volume for its own sake. We’re proving that healthy homes can be delivered affordably, profitably, and at scale. Get that right, and we change a lot more than our company. And you’ll do it without the corporate drag: small team, direct access to the founders, decisions made by people who understand building, not committees who understand spreadsheets.
We’re building this role with a clear path forward. As we grow into more new construction and eventually boutique communities, your role grows with it, with a direct path to advancing into an Area Manager position.
We’re a small team with serious ambitions, and there’s no hiding on a team this size. Every person here carries real weight, and our current team is only A players.
This role will ask a lot of you. Some weeks will be brutal. A heavy portfolio of active remodels, multiple projects hitting critical phases at once, a trade partner falling through, a client decision that has to happen today. You’ll have full autonomy and zero hand-holding - we hired you to run this, not to be managed. If you’re looking to coast into the back half of your career or clock 40 and check out, this is the wrong job and we’ll both figure that out fast.
We want the type who gets a little obsessed. Who can’t help fixing the broken process even when it’s not their problem - that’s how the rest of the team operates. You’d rather solve the hard problem than the easy one. If that’s you, you’ll thrive here. If it’s not, no hard feelings - this just isn’t the place.
The hours aren’t always predictable. When you’re trying to change how an industry builds, the mission doesn’t clock out at 5. But neither does the meaning. Some days you’ll wonder why you didn’t take the comfortable job at a big GC. Most days you’ll know exactly why.
If you want a job where every problem already has a documented solution, this isn’t it. If you want to help write the playbook for the next era of residential construction, we should talk.
