Job summary

BARNHART is seeking a Project Manager to oversee customer projects from award through execution, ensuring safety, schedule, profit, and customer satisfaction. The role collaborates with the project team to maintain schedules, identify critical path items, and communicate status to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include site visits, proposal and contract development, and close coordination with sales, engineering, and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or sufficient experience.
• Must have enough experience to meet or exceed the essential duties listed above.
• PMP is preferred (certification)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve efficiency of the project management team.
• Participate in customer site visits, proposals, and contract development/reviews to understand scope and risk.
• Lead projects from sales through development to execution and maintain communication with the Project Sales Representative.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, vendors, and field teams during design and planning phases.
• Develop and maintain overall project schedules, highlight critical path, and anticipate issues impacting cost and schedule.
• Regularly communicate project status across schedule, financials, risk, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate work crews and schedule equipment; travel as needed and manage field leadership.
