Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil highway and utility projects in Virginia. You will own cost, schedule and project profit from buyout through closeout, and coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and VDOT representatives.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years on heavy civil projects, DOT experience preferred, and a background in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 7+ years on heavy civil, highway or utility projects, with recent PM or senior APM experience.
• VDOT or other DOT project experience strongly preferred.
• Proven cost, schedule and change order management.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field experience.
• HCSS HeavyJob, HeavyBid or P6 experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Based in Virginia or ready to relocate; relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

Project Manager, Heavy Civil / VDOT

Location: Virginia Beach / Hampton Roads, VA area (Virginia projects, relocation available)

An established, family owned self perform heavy civil contractor with more than 50 years in Virginia is hiring a Project Manager for heavy civil highway and utility projects across the state. This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager or senior APM with VDOT or other DOT experience who wants ownership of real projects with a contractor that keeps winning work. You'll run roadway, highway and utility projects from start to finish, much of it VDOT work. Hampton Roads candidates are great, and candidates from anywhere ready to relocate are welcome.
