Jacobs in Hartford area is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support capital projects across the New England region. You will report to the Project Executive and collaborate with other Project Managers, client staff, design teams, specialty consultants and contractors.

• BS in Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years as a Project Manager for facilities planning, design and construction
• Experience in healthcare, building infrastructure, lab/research facilities
• Experience in capital project management
• Knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, contract management, and building systems
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Procore desirable
• Willing to work full-time at client locations in New England (CT/RI/MA/NY)

Our Program Management group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to be part of our team for our capital projects business line in the New England region. Reporting to the Project Executive you’ll be working alongside other Project Managers, client staff, design teams, specialty consultants and contractors.

In this role you’ll manage a variety of capital improvement projects for our client utilizing your project management experience. The work includes acting as a single point of contact for projects throughout the planning, budgeting, design, review, construction and inspection processes; monitoring project costs ensuring projects meet budget constraints; updating and ensuring the project stays on schedule and that project progress is regularly briefed with the client; and ensuring that the project contractors complete the scope of the project within budget, specified timeline and to established specifications.

This opportunity will require high level organization, communication, and presentations skills to ensure client staff affected by projects are informed and processes are established; to coordinate and communicate design development, plan reviews, permitting, changes in design or construction; to facilitate regular coordination meetings with the client, consultants, and contractors. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle projectchallenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. You’ll bring your expertise to solve complex problems, ensuring the success of our projects.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager focused on facilities planning, design and construction
• U.S. healthcare, building infrastructure, lab/research facility construction experience
• Experience in capital project management
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship building
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Procore experience desired
• Willing and able to work full-time at the client's locations in New England (CT/RI/MA/NY)

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $160,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
