Job Description

Turner & Townsend seeks an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects. The ideal project manager will be driven to provide our clients with excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
  2. Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
  3. Verify that effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized.
  4. Ensure application of best practices on all projects.
  5. Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required.
  6. Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly.
  7. Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  8. Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
  9. Forecast and update key project milestones.
  10. Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
  11. Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders.
  12. Rapid response to RFIs from the field.
  13. Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required.
  14. Conduct independent reviews of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs from architects, contractors, and suppliers.
  15. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with clients to maximize new opportunities.
  16. Provide strategic advice to project teams on approaches to successfully achieve clients’ and business objectives.
  17. Ensure key information and learnings from each project are captured.
  18. Identify and implement process improvements for internal systems and processes.
  19. Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
  • Strong communication skills.

All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Compensation varies based on education, training, and experience, with a minimum of $65,000 and a maximum of $155,000 annually. The offered salary depends on individual qualifications.
