Job summary

SRE Engineering, D.P.C., a certified MWBE and DBE firm in New York City, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support construction management services for NYC Health + Hospitals capital projects. This full-time role centers on delivering complex public sector projects.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction management, familiarity with NYC agencies, and proficiency with Procore or Kahua. P.E., CCM, or PMP licensure is preferred, along with strong knowledge of prevailing wage

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction management, healthcare or institutional facilities preferred.
• Experience with public sector clients (NYC agencies a plus).
• Procore or Kahua CM software experience.
• Professional licensure: P.E., CCM, or PMP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NYC prevailing wage and M/WBE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day CM operations across pre-construction, construction, and closeout.
• Serve as owner's representative; manage vendors, design consultants, and agency stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain project management plans, schedules, budgets, and monthly progress reports.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay requisitions per NYC H+H procedures.
• Ensure M/WBE utilization compliance and monthly reporting.
• Coordinate with NYC Health + Hospitals Office of Facilities Development (OFD).

About The Role

SRE Engineering, D.P.C., a certified M/WBE and DBE engineering and construction management firm, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support construction management services for NYC Health + Hospitals capital projects. This is a full‑time position serving one of the largest municipal healthcare systems in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day CM operations across pre‑construction, construction, and closeout phases
• Serve as owner's representative; manage vendors, design consultants, and agency stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain project management plans, schedules, budgets, and monthly progress reports
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay requisitions in compliance with NYC H+H procedures
• Ensure M/WBE utilization compliance and maintain documentation for monthly reporting
• Coordinate with NYC Health + Hospitals Office of Facilities Development (OFD)

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction management experience; healthcare or institutional facility experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing public sector clients (NYC agency experience a plus)
