ABOUT THE ROLE

Citadel CPM is in search of a highly experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage medical/healthcare/behavioral health facility design and construction building projects through planning, design, jurisdictional approvals, environmental permitting, construction, and close-out. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing capital improvement projects for construction.

ABOUT YOU

You are a Project Manager professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in project/construction management and concurrent field construction experience. Able to manage capital improvement projects overseeing all the trades.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Work experience in project planning and development.
• Experience with State of California Health Care Access and Information (HCAI, formerly OSHPD).
• Ability to independently manage all aspects of a project.
• Ability to develop and control project scope and maintain project budgets.
• Ability to develop and review project schedules.
• Skilled in reviewing and coordinating the preparation of construction documents.
• Ability to effectively facilitate project team and client meetings.
• Ability to effectively negotiate and prepare change orders.
• Ability to effectively monitor and coordinate construction activities with the various project stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt and respond effectively to project issues and challenges.
• Ability to set and manage project expectations.
• Must be knowledgeable in CEQA/NEPA.
• Design-Bid-Build project delivery experience.
• Job Order Contracting (JOC) project delivery experience.
• Knowledge of Public Contracting Code and practices.
• Knowledge of LEED.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

OR

• Possession of a valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Experienced and knowledgeable in the management of medical/healthcare/behavioral health facility design and construction projects.

Base pay is only one component of Citadel’s total compensation packages for employees.

Pay range for the Project Manager is $150,000 - $180,000 salary per year.
