Job Summary

The Release Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the end-to-end process of software release management, from planning and coordination to execution and delivery. This position ensures that all release activities are communicated effectively, executed on schedule, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational and communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and product management. This role is instrumental in supporting RxSense’s continued growth by ensuring smooth and efficient software deployments that meet quality and performance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees release coordination, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, with high quality and in alignment with business goals

  • Leads cross-departmental release management efforts, aligning stakeholders on timelines, dependencies, and deliverables

  • Plans, schedules, and facilitates Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Supports release execution by tracking progress across all phases, proactively identifying blockers, and ensuring timely delivery

  • Collaborates with distributed, cross-functional teams to align on release schedules and obtain approvals for each deployment

  • Enforces adherence to the Definition of Done (DoD) to maintain delivery standards and ensure release readiness

  • Tracks and monitors release activities, engages stakeholders, generates status reports, and recommends corrective actions when necessary

  • Designs and documents workflows, diagrams, and processes using tools like Miro, Confluence, and JIRA

  • Identifies gaps in existing processes and recommends improvements by drafting new or optimized procedures

  • Maintains confidentiality and fosters team trust by handling sensitive project and business information appropriately

  • Conducts regular assessments of process effectiveness using performance metrics, dashboards, and analytical reports

  • Contributes to the creation of actionable, repeatable reporting frameworks that uncover trends and highlight opportunities for process optimization

Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Release Coordinator/Release Manager, Scrum Master

  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Good understanding of Atlassian applications (JIRA/Confluence)

  • Ability to lead projects with team members at multiple levels within the organization

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple time zones

  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
