Job summary

Central Alliance is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead ground investigation projects from our West Yorkshire base on a permanent, full-time basis. You will oversee site operations, manage Graduate and Junior Engineers, and ensure compliance with all specifications, scope, and budget.

The role emphasizes business development for Wales and the Western Region, client liaison, and delivering safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising ground investigation contracts.
• Experience ensuring CDM compliance and producing H&S documentation.
• Willingness to attend internal/external training (PTS, NRASWA, CCNSG, towing license, CAT, First Aid, manual handling).
• Maintenance of ground investigation equipment.

We have an exciting opportunity for aProject Managerto join our Ground Investigation team.

Accountabilities

• Undertake role of Site Agent, Project Manager or Site Agent for Central Alliance.
• Supervision and training of Graduate and Junior Engineers.
• Meeting with the operational teams on a regular basis to review the Company’s operational performance, management and compliance.
• Ensure project compliance with specification, scope and price of works.
• Delivering company sales and undertaking business development, with focus on the Wales and Western Region.
• Attend client meetings and ascertain and programme work bank.

• Experience in the supervision and management of ground investigation contracts.
• Experience in compliance with CDM regulations and production of H&S documentation.
• The post holder will be expected to attend and pass internal and industry recognised external training courses. These may include, PTS, NRASWA, CCNSG, towing license, CAT, First Aid and manual handling training.
• Maintenance of ground investigation equipment.
