Empire State Development, NYS is seeking a Project Manager, GO-SEMI to support day-to-day execution, tracking, and compliance monitoring for New York's Green CHIPS program. You will translate policy requirements into workflows and manage project data, payments, and stakeholder relationships.

The role reports to the Director of Strategy and Operations and focuses on developing processes, optimizing implementation and compiling regular status reports for leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, business administration, economics, urban planning, communications, or related field.
• 2–3 years of full-time experience in project management, event coordination, economic development, data management, or related fields.
• Experience with NYS economic development processes and procedures.
• Comfortable in fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics and project management software.

The Project Manager, GO-SEMI supports the day-to-day execution, tracking, compliance monitoring, and overall management of New York State's Green CHIPS program at Empire State Development. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Operations, this role serves as the primary front-end manager of ESD's business systems for companies receiving Green CHIPS incentives, translating policy requirements into structured workflows and managing projects, financial disbursements, stakeholder relationships, and program data. The position involves developing program processes, optimizing implementation workflows, managing individual Green CHIPS projects, processing payments, and compiling regular status reports for leadership.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, business administration, economics, urban planning, communications, or related field
• 2-3 years of full-time experience in project management, event coordination, economic development, data management, or related fields
• Experience with NYS economic development processes and procedures
• Comfortable in fast-paced and dynamic work environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics and project management software
