STMCO Construction is a commercial general contractor specializing in tenant improvement, retail, and restaurant projects.

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is passionate about construction, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, and eager to contribute to our growth. You should have experience in overseeing construction processes from start to finish, with the ability to manage 4-6 tenant improvement projects concurrently. We value team players with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities also include sales and maintaining a client portfolio. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, working closely with field superintendents and foremen to ensure projects meet deadlines. Estimating experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets and change orders to ensure profitability
• Utilize PROCORE to facilitate project progress
• Manage project schedules and adapt plans as needed
• Handle project buyouts to maintain profitability
• Oversee all aspects of construction from planning to execution
• Allocate resources effectively
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Obtain permits and licenses from relevant authorities
• Coordinate with inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and officials
• Collaborate with estimators, superintendents, owners, and team members to ensure timely and within-budget project completion
• Troubleshoot issues and make quick decisions to keep projects on track
• Negotiate with contractors for favorable costs
• Ensure high standards of workmanship aligning with plans and specifications
• Report directly to the owner

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction management
• Proficiency with construction management software, especially PROCORE and Microsoft Planner
• Knowledge of tenant improvement and commercial projects
• Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
• Detail-oriented with respect to deadlines
