Job summary

Flowtec Construction in downtown Chicago is seeking a Project Manager to take full ownership of projects from preconstruction to turnover. You will manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial health while overseeing multiple active projects across diverse scopes.

The role requires a strong background in commercial construction, experience with ground-up, interiors, renovations or adaptive reuse, and excellent client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• PM with GC experience and strong commercial construction background.
• Experience with ground-up, interiors, renovations, and/or adaptive reuse preferred.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through turnover.
• Own budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall project financials.
• Oversee multiple active projects depending on size and complexity.
• Lead buyout, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and forecasting.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and clients.
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong owner relationships.
• Identify risks and proactively keep schedules and budgets on track.
• Mentor junior team members as the group grows.
