Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Project Manager (PM), will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between providing analysis of business needs and developing technical solutions, plus managing the implementation of these solutions. This position will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to identify, analyze, and document business requirements, and then translate them into actionable project plans. This position will be instrumental in guiding IT projects to successful completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering high-quality solutions that enhance the College's success.

This role is a key "trustedadvisor" role for the Planning, Performance, and Technology (PPT) area which will collaboratively work with internal Institution stakeholders, IT stakeholders, and external partners to define and implement solutions (large and small) for the College.

The PM should bring a broad knowledge of planning and performance standards to help guide and define solutions, get buy-in from all the stakeholders, and see the solutions executed with quality in a timely manner. After implementation the PM will ensure the solution is properly owned and maintained, and new requests from the Institution are managed.

• Acts as a liaison with all departments to understand, analyze, and maximize the effectiveness of all system and workflows. Communicates effectively with each internal customer to fully understand needs, and successfully communicates/translates those needs into solutions.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Determines solutions or configurations by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Drives full utilization/maximization of current systems, ensuring the practice effectively implements the latest system enhancements, and that workflows are adapted to maximize the combination of system and operational efficiency
• Analyzes, documents and tests program development, logic, process flows and specifications.
• Support cross-functional IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and create detailed project plans.
• Manage project resources, timelines, and risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders regularly.
• Helps to ensure proper support and maintenance for IT systems are in place and participates in major incident management processes.
• Maintains a working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements and ensures that compliance with all laws and regulations is maintained.
• Fosters an atmosphere of continuous improvement through ongoing collaboration among stakeholders and resource teams.
• Manages the introduction of change to multiple parts of a large, diverse organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education
  Bachelors Degree or equivalentyears of experience required.
  Industry certifications such as PMPpreferred.
  Experience

  Strong proven written, verbal, andvisual communication skills.
  Excellent understanding andexperience with managing business complexity, project interdependencies, andorganization change.
  Skill in developing, implementing,administering, and improving work processes.
  Knowledge of and experienceimplementing Agile methodologies is preferred.
  Working knowledge of ChangeManagement principles and practices is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to operate a variety of machines and equipment including computer, office equipment, telephone, etc. Physical demands include sedentary work, on campus meetings, and day and overnight travel. Tasks may require extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation. This position requires a background check and drug screen.

Hiring Range:

11 Salary/ Starting salary beginning at $66,487, based on education and experience.
