Base pay range

$33.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Description

Location: UCHealth Memorial Hosp Central, US:CO:Colorado Springs

Department: SRSS Facilities Support Ops

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary

Manages construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises design and construction of concurrent construction and renovation projects. Tracks project schedules and budgets.
  • Participates in decisions on contract negotiations and manages contracts with architect/engineer team, contractors, consultants, and vendors. Maintains policies regarding sole source and competitive bidding. Processes invoices, related scope modifications and change orders.
  • Provides updates on construction activity and financial status of capital projects. Adheres to financial goals. Participates in long-range planning activities, project development, review and approval of construction documents.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations and building codes related to hospitals and other facilities. Inspects work to ensure and maintain quality controls.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of relevant experience.
