Job summary

Reno Tahoe Construction is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to join our Reno office and lead cost estimating and project delivery for heavy civil projects.

The role requires coordinating with field operations, subcontractors, and suppliers to bring bids to life and drive projects from estimating through completion.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Approximately five years of experience in heavy civil construction, estimating, or project management.
• Familiarity with HCSS Estimating and Agtek software is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A team-oriented attitude, with initiative and collaboration across levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and project bids.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
• Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors.
• Track project costs, production, and performance to help ensure projects meet financial and schedule goals.
• Work closely with company leadership and operations to solve problems and deliver successful projects.

Project Manager / Estimator - Heavy Civil Construction

Reno Tahoe Construction is seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing Reno office.

We are an established heavy civil contractor specializing in large-scale earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and paving. Our projects span both the private and public sectors, including complex commercial, industrial, and infrastructure work throughout Northern Nevada.

This is an opportunity to join a smaller, hands-on team that takes on big projects.
