Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting LLC is seeking a Project Manager / Estimator for commercial construction in the Washington, DC area. You will oversee estimating, pre-construction planning, and full project execution, coordinating with clients, subs, and internal teams to meet cost, schedule, and quality goals.

The role combines bid development, budget management, and on-site leadership, with opportunities for growth and a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience.
5+ years of experience in commercial construction, including estimating and project management.
Strong knowledge of drywall or metal framing preferred.
Proficiency with construction/estimating software listed above.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze drawings and bid documents to develop accurate estimates.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Lead pre-construction activities and client negotiations.
Coordinate with superintendents, engineers, and estimators throughout the project.
Monitor safety, quality, and compliance on site and in meetings.
