Job summary

Excel Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Project Manager Estimator to lead estimates and oversee construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will review plans, coordinate logistics, and ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.

The role requires strong experience in project management, construction, and estimating, with the ability to work with clients on scope changes and to direct subcontractors and site teams.

Qualifications

• Project management experience preferred.
• 5 years construction experience preferred.
• 1 year estimating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide estimates based on plans and specifications.
• Oversee construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Review the project to schedule deliverables, coordinate logistics, and estimate costs.
• Review contracts and work to obtain permits and licenses.
• Oversee onsite and offsite activities related to project safety and regulations.
• Coordinate and direct workers and subcontractors with the jobsite foreman.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review weekly progress with company leadership.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging issues.
• Work to analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Work closely with clients to facilitate scope changes and submit change orders.
• Coordinate all closeout and punch-list items.

• Review the work progress of jobs on a weekly basis with company leadership.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
