Jobot is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager to lead complex roadway, bridge, and utilities projects across the region. The role demands expertise in estimating, cost controls, and coordination with subs and field teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in heavy civil PM or estimating, a strong safety record, and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management, estimating, or a combination of both.
• Strong experience with heavy civil projects including roadway, bridge, underground utilities, earthwork, grading, paving, concrete, or site development.
• Proven ability to manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining schedule and budget goals.
• Experience preparing conceptual estimates, competitive bids, quantity takeoffs, and cost analyses for heavy civil projects.
• Strong understanding of DOT, municipal, and public infrastructure construction standards and specifications.
• Ability to review civil drawings, specifications, contracts, and subcontractor proposals.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, project schedules, and field coordination activities.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations, construction sequencing, and civil construction means and methods.
• Strong financial management skills including forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, and change order management.
• Proficiency with construction management and estimating software platforms.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Commitment to jobsite safety, quality control, and client satisfaction.

Responsabilités

• Oversee heavy civil projects from preconstruction to closeout while maintaining schedule and budget.
• Lead coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure safety and quality.
• Prepare estimates, bids, and cost analyses for proposals and projects.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and change orders, ensuring compliance.
• Manage project schedules, forecast budgets, and track costs to mitigate overruns.
• Utilize CM and estimating software to monitor progress and reporting.

Job Details
