Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team in Kansas City. You will prepare detailed labor and material estimates for commercial electrical construction projects, analyze drawings and specs, and evaluate subcontractor pricing to ensure competitive bids.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, a solid understanding of electrical systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or related field) in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Trimble Accubid is a plus.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical construction projects. In this position you'll be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate labor and material estimates by analyzing project drawings and specifications, evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing, and pricing equipment while maintaining up-to-date cost databases.

Job Details

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (relevant experience may substitute for formal education)
• 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably within commercial construction
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Trimble Accubid v16 is a plus
