Herbst Electric, a subsidiary of The State Group, is hiring a Project Manager & Estimator based in Cleveland, Ohio. The role combines estimating with project leadership for industrial electrical services, including distribution, control systems, and maintenance.

You will develop estimates, coordinate field activities, and manage client relations while ensuring safety and quality compliance. The position offers growth within a multi-trade contractor and a strong benefits package.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in industrial construction.
• Two-year degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Industrial electrical experience.
• Experience with estimating software and ERP purchasing.

We are seeking a Project Manager & Estimator for Herbst Electric, a subsidiary of The State Group Family of Companies, based in Cleveland, Ohio. Herbst Electric Company, established over 65 years ago, provides timely solutions and electrical engineering services to support the electrical distribution and control equipment in industrial facilities. Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Herbst specializes in industrial services, including power distribution, control systems, automation, and ongoing maintenance.

What You Will Do

• As a Project Manager & Estimator, you will recognize, handle, and process incoming requests for quotations, information, etc.
• Spend the majority of your time preparing estimates and working in the field.
• Manage administrative and direct labor work while managing projects.
• Interface with clients and contractors during pre- and post-tender applications to develop effective business relationships.
• Ensure quality construction standards are followed.
• Monitor and lead compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Manage and mitigate risks.
• Comply with State Group’s standards and operating procedures.

What You Need To Join Our Team

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the industrial construction industry or a relevant internship preferred.
• Prefer a two-year degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Industrial electrical experience.
• Experience with estimating software and ERP purchasing.
• OSHA Construction Training.
• Intermediate MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Scheduling experience is a plus.
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively, and a proven track record of success in a busy, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
