We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Project Manager, Environmental Engineer or Geologist to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time, hybridposition located in our Seattle, WA or Portland, OR office.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, youwill:

  • Serveas a key member of the environmental group with the ability to step in and immediately manage projects in the Pacific Northwest.
  • Work collaboratively with a passionate team supporting a wide variety of clients with challenging projects.
  • Understand client needs and be able to develop strong client relationships.
  • Have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Washington.
  • Be capable of fully managing financial, technical, and regulatory aspects of projects.
  • Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
  • Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client and regulatory deliverables.
  • Be effective in assigning and managing work.
  • Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills to junior level staff.
  • Possess skills in quality control, planning, cost estimating, and scheduling.
  • Direct environmental field observation and testing programs.
  • Be able to effectively manage various remediation projects.
  • Develop a working understanding of H&A’s other consulting practiceareas and actively support marketing other services to existingclients.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum Skills andRequirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science (Master’s degree preferred) in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Geology
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant consulting experience in the Pacific Northwest with: environmental regulations, environmental investigations and site characterization, remediation technologies, operation and maintenance, and construction.
  • Have professional registration PE/LG – or can get it within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient at writing, reviewing, and editing technical reports to meet scope and quality objectives and client expectations.
  • Ability to comply with the Guiding Principles and Code of Behavior articulated in our Company Handbook.

The salary range for this position inSeattle, WA is $115,000 - $135,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market. This role is eligible to participate in the company’s discretionary bonus program. This role may be eligible to receive a sign-on bonus.
