Job summary

IE Corp. is seeking an experienced project engineer/manager to lead complex projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate with engineering teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and profitability.

Strong communication, budgeting, and risk management are essential to success. Responsibilities include developing project approaches, preparing drawings, managing change orders, and ensuring all technical, commercial, and logistical documentation is accurate.

Responsibilities

• Manages approval process for customer approvals and communicates project schedule impacts.
• Develops project approach, sketches, drawings, and job traveler; engages with customers on technical questions.
• Monitors budget, profitability, and change orders; coordinates scope changes with customers and IE.
• Develops project schedule, ensures on-time delivery, and coordinates with operations for capacity.
• Identifies and mitigates risks to schedule, quality, and production; communicates alternatives.
• Manages customer/supplier-related issues, scope changes, and post-job profitability reviews.
• Oversees resources, stakeholders, commissioning, production outsourcing, field support, and warranty requirements.
• Assists Application Engineers and maintains punctual attendance; adheres to IE safety rules and core values.

Education

BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or technical field with one year experience in design, commissioning, or cost estimating; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
