Developing and managing the approved scope, budget, and schedule on multiple projects simultaneously.
Writing proposals
Establishing project objectives, procedures and performance standards, and leading multi-disciplinary teams on proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction services.
Identifying appropriate resources and skill sets to achieve project objectives as well as managing contract terms, tracking and managing costs and schedule, and implementing measures necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.
Actively support proposal pricing strategies, cost proposal preparation, contract legal and risk reviews, and related marketing efforts needed to develop winning proposals.
Embracing Stantec’s internal policies and practices, including risk management, project management, and quality management.
Work in a manner to protect the health and safety of Stantec employees, clients and the public by following company health, safety and security guidelines and policies.
Maintaining and enhancing our relationship with clients, approval agencies and industry professionals by providing exceptional service.
Providing mentoring and training for future leaders to support their career growth.
Promoting collaboration and teamwork across business lines and geographies.
Experienced in organizing, planning, and executing projects from pursuit through closeout, involving internal personnel, subconsultants, and vendors.
Ability to make sound defensible business decisions, and identify, assess, evaluate, and solve complex problems.
Proven track record managing projects from planning through construction or implementation within a consulting environment.
Familiarity with Earned Value Management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Passion for team building and collaboration.
Travel to other offices as well as to project sites will be required.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets, contracts, and resources.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with project management software (MS Project, Primavera P6), collaboration tools (SharePoint, Bluebeam), and ERP systems (Deltek, Oracle).
Experience managing large-scale or high-profile infrastructure, environmental, or building design projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Client-focused mindset with commitment to technical excellence, quality, and safety.
Ability to drive business development and support organizational growth initiatives.
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related technical discipline.
Experience: Minimum 10 years’ relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years of experience managing and/or coordinating projects.
Licenses/Certifications: PMP and/or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred, but not required

Locations in CO, HI, IL, MD & Various CA, NJ, VA Areas-$121,300.00 - $182,100.00 Annually
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
