POSITION SUMMARY
The Emergency Cold Weather Shelter Project Manager oversees daily operations for Bayaud Works’ emergency cold weather shelter services in partnership with the City and County of Denver Department of Housing Stability. This position coordinates 24/7 shelter coverage, staffing, scheduling, guest support, site readiness, safety procedures, documentation, and contract compliance. The Project Manager ensures shelter sites are prepared to provide safe 24/7 shelter, including beds/cots, food support, hygiene supplies, laundry coordination, custodial and biohazard response, transportation coordination, and trained staff coverage. This role also supports payroll, timekeeping, and program-data quality, required reporting, and communication with Bayaud Works leadership, shelter teams, subcontractors, vendors, and City partners.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position provides day-to-day supervision and operational direction to shelter operations staff assigned to emergency cold weather shelter sites, including temporary employees and shift leads. The Project Manager supports staffing coverage, training, performance expectations, documentation, service quality, and communication across assigned sites. This role also coordinates with other Project Managers, Bayaud Works leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and City partners to ensure contract expectations are met.

ALTERNATIVE WORK PLAN
This position is not eligible for an Alternative Work Plan. Duties must be performed on-site at assigned shelter locations, Bayaud Works offices, or other work sites as needed. Special projects or temporary remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis with supervisor approval.
