Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos company, seeks a Project Manager to lead the Transmission Pole Replacement Program and Like-for-Like Asset Replacement Program. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution with a team of schedulers, analysts, and engineers to deliver critical utility infrastructure projects.

You will guide safety, schedule, and cost performance while coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Permitting, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years in electric utility project management, engineering, construction, contracts, operations, or related fields.
  • 5+ years in project finance planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of utility operations, engineering principles, environmental considerations, and project delivery practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, balance deadlines, and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, plus Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Transmission Pole Replacement Program and Like-for-Like Asset Replacement Program from planning through construction.
  • Mentor schedulers and analysts, foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop bundled replacement projects to optimize construction efficiency and resource use.
  • Coordinate planning, scheduling, engineering, procurement, and execution with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Define scope, design coordinates, cost estimating, risk identification, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage program budgets, schedules, milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate permitting, material procurement, outage planning, and pre-construction activities.
  • Conduct project reviews, constructability assessments, and governance milestones.
  • Lead contractor and stakeholder coordination during construction and implementation.
  • Monitor performance and resolve scope, cost, schedule, or quality issues.
  • Provide program reporting, executive updates, and communications.
  • Ensure closeout activities and lessons learned are documented.

Lead Critical Infrastructure Projects That Power Communities

Are you a strategic project manager who enjoys building high-performing teams, driving complex programs, and delivering meaningful infrastructure improvements? We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of our Transmission Pole Replacement Program and Like-for-Like Asset Replacement Program, with overall accountability for project delivery, onsite-oversight, contractor management, budget and schedule performance, coordination, and reporting.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of schedulers, analysts, etc. while helping shape the future of our utility infrastructure. You’ll guide projects from planning through construction, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational goals. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact while collaborating with talented professionals across engineering, operations, construction, and stakeholder teams.

Responsibilities

As the Project Manager, you will provide overall leadership, governance, and strategic direction for two critical asset replacement programs. You will be responsible for achieving program objectives related to safety, schedule, budget, quality, and performance while supporting broader business priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the successful delivery of the Transmission Pole Replacement Program
  • Leading and mentoring a team of schedulers and analysts, while fostering accountability, collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement.
  • Developing bundled replacement projects to optimize construction efficiency, resource utilization, and overall program performance.
  • Partnering closely with internal project teams and stakeholders to align planning, scheduling, engineering, procurement, and execution activities.
  • Overseeing project development, including scope definition, design coordination, cost estimating, risk identification, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Managing program budgets, schedules, milestones, risks, and performance metrics to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Coordinating permitting, materials procurement, outage planning, and pre-construction activities to support seamless execution.
  • Facilitating project reviews, constructability assessments, kickoff meetings, and governance milestones to ensure readiness and compliance.
  • Leading contractor and stakeholder coordination throughout construction and project implementation.
  • Monitoring project performance and proactively resolving issues that may impact scope, cost, schedule, or quality.
  • Providing program reporting, executive updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Ensuring project closeout activities, documentation, and lessons learned are completed in accordance with company standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Permitting, or a related discipline.
  • 5 or more years of experience in the electric utility industry in project management, engineering, construction, contracts, operations, or related fields.
  • 5 or more years of experience in project financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of utility operations, engineering principles, environmental considerations, and project delivery practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing deadlines, and drive projects to completion.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, as well as Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience leading complex utility infrastructure or asset replacement programs.

Benefits & Salary:
  • This position pays between $100,000 and $150,000 annually and is an exempt position.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
