Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Project Manager within the Project Management Office to lead electrical system design, implementation, and maintenance projects. You will develop plans, allocate resources, guide engineering teams, and maintain client communications to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role is hybrid remote/onsite with regular site visits to southern California client sites. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in PM are required, with PMP preferred and travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent technical degree.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience with electrical utilities.
  • Must have valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle and willingness to travel 10-15% for site visit requirements.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Curious and active listener: You have a deep hunger to learn, coupled with a willingness to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects involving design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and solutions.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
  • Allocate and coordinate resources including engineers, technicians, equipment, and materials.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish strong communication with clients, understand requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures to stay within financial targets.
  • Support project sites in southern California and client offices as needed.

Job description

As Project Manager in the Project Management Office, you will lead and manage projects that involve the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and solutions. Your role will require strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as effective project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.

You’ll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your day will involve developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines. You’ll allocate and coordinate resources, including engineers, technicians, equipment, and materials, to keep the project on track.

You’ll provide technical guidance and expertise to our engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Establishing strong communication channels with clients will be key, as you’ll need to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns. Additionally, you’ll monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure we stay within financial targets.

This is a hybrid remote & onsite role that will regularly require support at project sites in southern California as well as visits to the client office

Benefits & Salary:
  • This position is an exempt position and pays between $120,000 and $175,000 annually based on candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
