The American Museum of Natural History is seeking a full-time Project Manager, Digital Publishing to update, publish, and maintain content across the Museum’s website and digital platforms using the CMS.
The role requires coordinating multiple projects, training CMS users, sourcing images, and ensuring accessibility and editorial standards. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 annually.

The Communications and External Relations department is seeking a full-time Project Manager, Digital Publishing, responsible for updating, maintaining, and publishing content on the Museum’s website and other digital platforms in line with best practices for search, accessibility, editorial style, and user experience, using an enterprise content management system ( CMS ).
Reporting to the Assistant Director for Web Production, the Project Manager will be responsible for populating new content, as well as for the remediation of outdated content, by implementing the latest CMS templates to ensure optimal functionality. This work is accomplished with a range of stakeholders with rolling deadlines, so managing priorities across multiple projects is essential.

The expected salary range for the Project Manager, Digital Publishing is $70,000/annual – $80,000/annual. The AMNH offers an extensive benefits package designed to meet the needs of our dedicated and diverse community.
Pay will be determined based on several factors. The hiring range for the position at commencement is based on the type of work and the scope of responsibilities. The salary and placement offered is based on a number of individualized factors, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, education, credentials, areas of specialization, and depth and scope of experience.
