Job Title: Project Manager Development

Location: Houston, TX

General Role Description

Lead and manage a matrix team to complete project execution within a typical cycle of 1 to 2 years.

Role Accountabilities
  1. Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project execution and achievement of company objectives.
  2. Establish and meet project commitments.
  3. Recommend and implement risk assessments and mitigation plans to stay within budgets and targets.
  4. Serve as the primary contact for internal clients regarding ongoing projects.
  5. Identify, resolve, and communicate issues, escalating as necessary.
  6. Collect, analyze, and report on technology unit data to management.
  7. Provide updates on project performance, process integration, market trends, and client relationships.
  8. Identify opportunities for improvements in new developments, products, and services to foster business growth.
  9. Initiate and execute process improvement initiatives.
  10. Maintain records of project communications, specifications, timelines, and dependencies.
  11. Collaborate with Finance to track and analyze projects from inception to post-implementation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of project or technical leadership experience.
  • Financial acumen and successful client/supplier relationships.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Availability for domestic and international travel (approximately 25%).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading matrix teams.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Business Intelligence tools.
  • PMI PMP Certification.
  • Experience managing R&D projects.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot tables, graphs, and VBA.
