Job summary

Digital Technology Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for a client engagement in Detroit, MI. You will lead development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of long-term IT projects with complex scope across functions.

The role requires 5+ years of project management, health-care payer background, and proficiency with Waterfall and Agile. You will coordinate with business and IT stakeholders, prepare status reports, and ensure successful project delivery and closure.

DTS is looking for Project Manager for our client position in Detroit, MI

Description

Accountable for and manages the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of long-term project(s) typically spanning two years or more from planning to implementation, with complex scope and deliverables that may impact multiple business unit/function or business critical program. Project scope spans across the enterprise, impacting one or more of the following: process, system, function, product and/or service.

Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)

• Support/facilitate Business Case, Business Requirement documentation
• Facilitate project business decision making
• Develop complete end to end project plan which includes business implementation, readiness and technical milestones
• Compile status reports reflecting all aspects of project execution including business implementation, readiness and technical inputs. Present status to executive leadership
• Work with all project stakeholders to resolve project issues or mitigate risks
• Facilitates the development of User Acceptance Testing scenarios and business approvals
• Facilitates defect tracking and resolution in coordination with IT
• Provide consolidated (business and IT) project status reporting, verbally and in writing
• Ensure proper transition of ongoing business activities prior to project closure

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience –

• Project management 5+ years (with IT scope)
• Major health care payer or Health industry background 3+ years
• Waterfall and Agile project experience 5+ years

Education/Certifications – Include
