Job summary

Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) seeks a Project Manager for Design, Construction, and Management in the Office of Facilities Planning, Construction, and Management. You will lead capital projects from concept through completion, coordinating with college staff, regulators, consultants, and contractors to deliver quality facilities.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering/architecture/construction, 5+ years of PM experience, and knowledge of building codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction-related curriculum.
• 5+ years of design and construction management experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience in project management methodologies, planning, cost control, construction economics, cost lifecycle analyses, and financial management.
• Knowledge of building components and construction; familiarity with NYC/State codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from inception to completion, on time and within budget.
• Identify dependencies, critical path, and project risks; develop budgets.
• Coordinate with colleges, government bodies, consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare designs, bid documents, and ensure compliance with program and budget.
• Review bids, authorize change orders, and manage project scope and schedules.
