Job summary

gpac is seeking a Project Manager for a Design-Build General Contractor in Sioux Falls, SD. You will direct and manage project development from start to finish, create and manage schedules, and ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.

You will lead change orders, coordinate with department managers, estimate resources, and uphold safety practices. A background in commercial construction and strong communication are essential; salary is based on experience.

Qualifications

Construction Project Manager experience is required.
Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction Management preferred but not required.
Design-Build experience is preferred.
Compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Create and manage project schedules.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within or under budget.
Process project change orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Coordinate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel when needed.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Identify and help resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Prepare and submit budget estimates.
Conform with all safety rules and support the execution of best safety practices.
Assist with estimating new projects as needed.
