Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager in Austin, TX to lead multi-workstream programs across interface, data, transition, and testing activities. You will plan, schedule, mitigate risks, coordinate teams, and track progress to ensure scope, schedule, and stakeholder alignment.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of PM experience, a Bachelor's degree, and active security clearances. PMP/SAFe certifications and Jira/IPs management familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; security clearances may be required.
• PMP and/or SAFe certifications are preferred.

What You Will Do

What You Will Do

Manages project planning, scheduling, risk mitigation, communications, and coordination across multiple workstreams. Supports successful execution of program objectives by tracking progress, resolving issues, and managing dependencies among functional and technical teams. Ensures project activities remain aligned with scope, schedule, and stakeholder expectations.

Support program execution across interface, conversion, data cleanse, transition, testing, documentation, and stakeholder workstreams. Manage project plans, IPS updates, dependencies, action items, issues, risks, schedules, meeting materials, PMR/WPR inputs, Agile reports, deliverable tracking, readiness coordination, and cross-team communications; support PM and workstream leads in maintaining alignment across VA, SI, subcontractor, technical, and functional teams.

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"


• Bachelor's degree


• EIGHT (8) or more years of professional experience in project planning, scheduling, risk, communications, dependency management, and/or multi-workstream coordination.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification


• SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certification


• Momentum ERP/iFAMS, federal financial management, IPS management, Agile/Jira/Agility dashboards, transition readiness, and large federal IT modernization experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
